A mudslide was reported around 6:17 p.m. Aug. 30 near mile marker 115 and mile 128 on Highway 141. A crew reported the roadway was impassable and requested another unit and an alternate route.
The crew also asked dispatch to notify the Colorado Department of Transportation. The precise location and any injuries were not confirmed in the scanner traffic. Crews are working to detour traffic on Highway 141.
Update: Large boulders are reported in the roadway at mile marker 128.
Update 7:45 p.m.: CDOT is on scene with plows and front loaders working to open the roadway. Some residents in the area are also clearing the roadway with tractors.
