CLIFTON, CO — A 21-year-old Clifton woman was arrested Wednesday after allegedly using a stun gun on a victim and smashing a vehicle’s windshield during an altercation where a child was present.
On Wednesday, September 2, at approximately 12:00 p.m., Mesa County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a delayed report of an assault. Investigators learned that a physical altercation had taken place the previous evening at a residence in the 400 block of Topaz Drive in Clifton.
During the investigation, deputies determined that the suspect, identified as Christina Miller, 21, physically assaulted the victim and utilized a stun gun during the attack. As the victim attempted to flee the residence in their vehicle, Miller allegedly swung a heavy object at the car, causing damage to the front windshield. Authorities noted that a child was present while the incident occurred.
Miller was located and taken into custody later that day. She was transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility and booked on the following charges:
- Use of a Stun Gun (Felony 5)
- Third-Degree Assault (Misdemeanor 1)
- Child Abuse – Knowingly/Recklessly, No Injury (Misdemeanor 2)
- Criminal Mischief – $300 to $1,000 (Misdemeanor 2)
