
Emergency crews responded around 1:13 p.m. to a reported medical incident at North Avenue and North 25th Street. Grand Junction police, fire and EMS units were dispatched with lights and sirens.
Originally dispatched as a vehicle-versus-pedestrian collision, the incident was reclassified upon arrival as a medical emergency. An adult male was found actively seizing and bleeding near the roadway. A bystander had positioned their vehicle to block traffic and protect the patient.
The male patient was transported to the hospital and the roadway is now re-opened.
