Fire crews and EMS units were dispatched at approximately 2:57 a.m. Sept. 19 to a reported structure fire in the 500 block of 20 1/2 Road. The resident reported the dining room was on fire, had evacuated, and believed two dogs remained inside. Fire alarms were sounding in the background of the call.
Crews initially reported a large two-story residence with nothing showing from outside, but later confirmed a working fire in the front of the house near the dining room. Firefighters were continuing interior operations and searching the home. No injuries were reported in the scanner traffic.
