Fire crews responded with lights and sirens to a reported structure fire at about 3:29 p.m. Sept. 26 at a multi-unit building in the 2900 block of Dawn Drive. The fire reportedly began with something burning on a stove, and occupants evacuated as the building filled with smoke.
Crews arriving at the two-story fourplex reported light smoke and embers. Firefighters used a water can and opened walls to address small fires before advising the fire was out. No injuries were reported in the scanner traffic.
