Emergency crews responded shortly after 6:00 p.m. to a vehicle-versus-skateboarder incident at North Avenue and 29 Road in Grand Junction. Grand Junction police, fire and EMS units responded with lights and sirens.
The skateboarder, a 30-year-old male, was reported conscious and breathing while lying on the ground and talking with law enforcement. Initial reports indicated no obvious injuries, though he may have suffered a dislocated or broken shoulder. The white truck driver remained at the scene.
