Mesa County sheriff’s deputies responded around 6 p.m. to a reported road-rage incident on eastbound Highway 50 near mile marker 50. The reporting party said a male motorcycle rider pointed a firearm at them before continuing toward Montrose.
The motorcycle was later stopped near mile marker 50, where deputies conducted a high-risk traffic stop. No injuries were reported in the scanner traffic.
