Emergency crews responded around 1:36 p.m. Sept. 30 to a motorcycle-versus-vehicle crash at North Avenue and Canal Avenue. Grand Junction police, fire and EMS units responded with lights and sirens.
A 24-year-old male motorcycle rider was reported unconscious and not breathing, with CPR reportedly in progress. The other vehicle was described as a gold or brown Ford pickup truck. The eastbound No. 1 lane of North Avenue was blocked while responders worked at the scene.
