Fire and EMS crews responded to the scene, where a male bicyclist was reported conscious and breathing but experiencing difficulty breathing and hip pain. The rider possibly has broken ribs.
Radio traffic described the crash as a minor to moderate. The bicyclist was down in the intersection and blocking eastbound North Avenue while crews provided care and directed traffic.
