
GRAND JUNCTION, CO — A 33-year-old was arrested Thursday morning after deputies responding to a possible overdose found heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and evidence of drug sales during their investigation.
On October 1, at approximately 4:40 a.m., Mesa County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a home in the 300 block of Clarinet Lane. While two deputies attended to the reported overdose, additional deputies interviewed other individuals at the residence.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Allyson Rayfield, 33, attempted to leave with multiple belongings despite requests to remain at the scene. Deputies took Rayfield into custody on outstanding warrants while continuing their investigation.
During a search of the belongings, deputies located heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine, along with a large amount of drug paraphernalia and evidence of drug sales.

Rayfield was transported to the Mesa County Detention Facility, where Rayfield was booked on the following charges:
- Distribution, Manufacture or Possession with Intent — Less Than 1/2 Ounce of a Schedule I/II Substance, Less Than 1/4 Ounce of Methamphetamine, Heroin, Ketamine or Cathinone, or Less Than 10 Milligrams of Flunitrazepam (Drug Felony 3)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Drug Petty Offense)
- Tampering with Physical Evidence — Destruction (Misdemeanor 1)
- False Reporting of Identifying Information to Law Enforcement (Misdemeanor 2)
- Fugitive from Another Jurisdiction Warrant
- Failure to Appear Warrant
