Emergency crews responded around 6:55 p.m. Oct. 5 to a vehicle-versus-pole crash near O Road and 17 Road. Fire and EMS units, a Mesa County deputy and a Fruita police officer were dispatched with lights and sirens.
Radio traffic indicated a white SUV struck a telephone pole north of O Road on 17 Road. A female was reported trapped inside the vehicle, with no obvious injuries reported.
