A two-vehicle crash was reported around 7:22 p.m. Oct. 9 at Highway 50 and 32 Road. EMS crews and a Mesa County sheriff’s deputy responded to the scene. One vehicle was blocking an eastbound lane, while another was about 25 feet down an embankment. Airbags deployed, and one person complained of chest pain.
Both vehicles were expected to need towing. Additional injuries were not reported in the scanner traffic.
