Mesa County sheriff’s deputies responded around 11:45 p.m. to a reported vehicle-versus-guardrail incident at the 32 Road overpass over the railroad tracks near I-70B in Clifton. Radio traffic indicated a green Subaru Outback struck the guardrail and was blocking lanes.
Two males wearing black hoodies and hats reportedly got out of the vehicle and fled west toward Sonic and the railroad tracks. Deputies searched the surrounding area. No injuries were reported in the scanner traffic.
