Emergency crews responded Friday afternoon to a rollover crash involving a truck and trailer in the 4200 block of Highway 50. Mesa County Fire Authority, Grand Junction Fire, EMS and law enforcement responded to the scene, where a 20-year-old male driver was conscious and breathing but trapped inside the heavily damaged vehicle.
Responders requested a heavy wrecker to move the trailer and assist with extrication. Care Flight 4 accepted an in-air standby.
Radio traffic confirmed there is no school involved in this incident. Earlier report in traffic was unfounded.
